This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movements in the aggregate and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

17. GDPR/ Financial/ Anti-money laundering checks.
In light of recent changes to data protection, we are notifying you that should you enquire about any property we are instructed to market, view or request to be added to our mailing list, we do store your contact details for the purpose of informing you of properties that we feel are suitable. This will be name(s), address, email, telephone, solicitors details. We do not hold any financial information about you. We do act in accordance of the ICO guidelines and PRS.

Should you make an offer on a property, we do require ID information, proof of address, date of birth and we are entitled to request sight of financial information to satisfy a purchaser’s ability to finance. Should we see fit to ask for financial information as proof of funding prior to arranging a viewing of a property in order to satisfy our company of a genuine interest and the ability to purchase we will request this in order to carry out our due-diligence and client care. Should you not have this information then you should take advise from your financial advisor when obtaining such proof. Should you purchase/ sell a property through Robinson Estates then your information is retained on our files for 5 years to meet our requirements for anti-money laundering purposes with HMRC. You are entitled to have your personal information removed from our records by contacting our agency at any time.

Robinson Estates are members of the ICO and abide by their guidelines. Please note, we do not obtain information from third parties, the information we hold is the information you supplied to us and which you gave your permission at that time to hold on file and use for marketing purposes. Please note, by completing any forms on our website or third party websites this information is used for marketing and information purposes. 18. Where we store your information
Robinson Estates subscribe to third party software providers who store information on their sites. These are estate agency providers who ensure GDPR regulations are in place. We are not responsible for your information on their sites. We are happy to show you your information should you wish to make appointment in our offices.

19. What do we do with your information?
The information you supply is

a) used to match your requirements to properties we market that may be of interest to you
b) to notify you of any offers we have as possible vendor clients
c) used in connection with any viewing or offers you make on a property
d) passed on to solicitors as part of the sale memorandum
e) used for market appraisal information
f) used for proof of address purpose for Anti-money laundering

20. HMRC Anti-money laundering
We are legally obligated to carry out anti-money laundering checks on all our vendor clients and purchasers. Therefore we request and are entitled to see sight of formal ID and proof of address.  We will not agree any sale should this not be completed or indeed any information withheld. Should you refuse to conduct this survey or provide ID as requested, then we cannot proceed with any sale or marketing of your property, as a purchaser we are legally obliged to report your refusal to provide information to HMRC. 

In some circumstances we may request to see proof of funding from you prior to arranging a viewing of any of our properties. Should you not have this information then you should take advise from your financial advisor when obtaining such proof.

21. Services

Our services are available if required and these include conveyancing, mortgage and insurance services, general insurance and life assurance, buildings, contents, income insurance, surveys and valuations and other property related services. These services are also available to prospective purchasers. The referral fees we may receive from these services can range from £50 to £250.
